Job Title: Sr. Advanced Process Control Engineer

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced APC Process Control Engineers to apply their real world experience to the design, implementation, deployment and validation of key customer projects. In this role you will have both strategic impact by contributing to the delivery of our comprehensive optimization solutions, as well as tactical exposure to the latest Ethanol APC products and technologies through our collaboration with vendors and partners. You will have the opportunity to team with subject matter experts across our organization as well as representatives from world class manufacture’s product and services groups.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Proposing and designing APC solutions through gathering and analyzing customer requirements
• Leading project teams in deploying, configuring, commissioning, and troubleshooting ethanol APC solutions
• Project execution throughout the project lifecycle
• Leading on-site and remote technical support teams to support domestic and international customers
• Attendance at relevant internal and external meetings and events
• Contributing to pre-sale solution proposals and customer meetings
• Training and mentoring junior System Engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree (Master or Doctor degree are desired though not required) or equivalent, in Chemical Engineering (prefereed), Process Automation Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• 7-10 years working experience as an Advanced Process Control Engineer, System Engineer, Service Engineer, Project Engineer, or Project Manager
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Demonstrated good understanding of and successful APC project management experience throughout all project phases, including requirements, gathering data, solution design, deployment and commissioning, customer acceptance testing, as well as post project customer support
• First hand process control project experience and technical exposure to one of the following industrial sectors is a plus: Ethanol plants, Chemical, Oil Refining, or Petrochemical plants
• Strong Technical experience in one or more multiple DCS and/or industrial automation control systems, such as Siemens APACS, Siemens PCS7, Foxboro I/A, Emerson DeltaV, OSISoft PI, Wonderware InTouch and InSQL, Matrikon Control Performance Monitor (ProcessDoc) and Control Performance Optimizer (ProcessAct), MatrikonOPC, etc.
• Strong team building and leading experiences
• Willing to travel in the U.S. and China
